Bidder guide

Create and access your bidder account

Register, sign in, complete email verification when needed, and return to auctions from a shared link.

When Place Bid asks you to sign in

You can open an organiser's auction link and browse its items without an account. If you select Place Bid while signed out, Aucly asks you to sign in or create an account before the bid can be submitted. Creating an account does not itself place the bid, so return to the item and check the amount before confirming it.

Use an email address you can access during and after the auction. It identifies your bids in My Bids and is where Aucly and the organiser send outbid, winner, payment, collection or delivery messages.

If you register with email and password

Aucly sends a verification message when you register with email and password. Open it and follow the link. If it does not arrive, check junk or spam, then check the address before requesting another message.

You can return to the auction while verification is pending. Accounts created with Google sign-in do not need a separate verification message.

An expired or already-used verification link cannot be used again. Return to Aucly and request a fresh verification email rather than reopening the old message.

Returning after registration or password reset

Open the organiser's shared auction link again to continue with the item you wanted. My Bids shows bids already submitted by the signed-in account; a bid that was never confirmed will not appear there.

If you cannot sign in, use the password-reset option on the login page. After resetting, sign in with the same email address used for the earlier bids so their auction activity remains available in My Bids.
